Late 1940’s (?) Dress, mesh under lace inside of sleeves, and stiffer mesh under skirting is intact. No holes or tears, that I see. •Neckline has beading, sequins & gold thread. •Button closure in back is missing 2 buttons at the bottom. No zipper •Photos: Dress turned inside out shows it was made by a skilled seamstress. •Sleeves are daintily cut to adorn the brides hand; 4 buttons on the inner wrist. (Could take one button from each sleeve to replace missing buttons in back). •The lace is very lovely, but quite damaged in areas. Lace on sleeves have rips, and in some areas have been cut away to avoid further tears. Ripped areas could be patched over, if you found a similar matching lace pattern. (See video for damaged areas.) •Last photo shows soft mesh lining is in good shape where lace is missing. This was used in Legacy’s Vintage Wedding Show. We used a wedding veil to drape over the shoulders. It still had what it took to make the ‘bride/model’ look beautiful as she walked down the runway. It has been carefully hand washed. Good for stage performance. Approximate Measurements: Pit to pit 16” circumference 32” Not sure where waistline is, measured what seems to be the narrowest part of bodice (See photos): Approximately 26” round This a drop waist princess gown. The measurement below the waistline, where it begins to drop into a V shape is 28”circumference. Length of dress (shoulder seam to lace hem): 56” Sleeve: pit to wrist 17.5”; 2” longer on top of wrist
