1940's SKIRT SUIT 40's jacket + skirt set S

This beautiful 1940's suit looks burgundy from a distance, but it's actually made of red and black threads in a tiny herringbone stripe. Wool, midweight, suitable for all but the hottest days. On the skirt, there's an unpainted metal side zip closure and button waist. The jacket has metal buttons, but the one at the waist level is missing. Unlined. Fits like a S, please compare the measurements below with pieces you have that fit well. No stretch. The last picture shows some damage (moth??) on the edge of the button placket. Since it's on the inner edge, most of the time it's concealed and not seen. Recently dry-cleaned.
