1940's Original Tailored wool Dress by Penny Mason

the tag is size 11-12 which is similar to a size 5. This dress is a Penny Mason having Designs in Vanity Fair in 1946, but was more popular in London where she had her base. this dress is fully lined and is an olive green. it has four front pleats, and a zipper back closure. Two eyehooks, one at the waist, and other at the top. It has a unique design in the front with two oversized buttons. The dress is meant to drop just below the knee. There are unfortunately two small spots where a moth has damaged it. They are small enough to easily be repaired. They are about the size of a pencil eraser and are not noticeable without closely examining the garment. This dress is a rare find and a wonderful addition to any wardrobe.
