1940s Liberty Cuff Rainbow WW2 Navy Uniform

This 1940s WWII era wool Naval sailor uniform is a men’s top with the original patches and slit pocket at the chest. Lightweight wool weave with Petty officer 2nd class and Engineman insignia on sleeve, unusually the top has some rainbow stitching inside - called a Liberty stitch made with hand done embroidery this would have been flipped around while sailors were out and about to show their own personality while away from base.
