1940's Lanvin “Arpège”

Vintage 1940's Lanvin "Arpège" bottle. This vintage bottle stands 6" including the lid and is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks, cloudiness or any damage. No markings to the glass other than the embossed word "LANVIN" and number "13" on the foot of the piece. Black bakelite cap is also in excellent condition and has the carved Lanvin logo consisting of a mother and child. Bottle originally held 6 ounces of liquid and is a little less than half full. This bottle of Arpège would be a great addition to a vintage scent/bottle collection. A fantastic vintage find perfect for display and use. History: Arpège - an aldehydic floral - was originally introduced by the House of Lanvin in 1927 and is iconic. Lanvin's slogan for this was "Promise her anything but give her Arpège". Has had a strong cult following through the years. The name Arpège was selected for its similarity to an arpeggio - a cascade of successive notes - and it lives up to that promise when applied. skuD1B2114
