1940's Italian Paper Mache Wiseman for Nativity Dark Skinned Man on Knee w Gift

Featured is a 1940's Wiseman for a Nativity. This is hand painted and made from paper mache. It is a dark skinned man on one knee holding a gold container w a gift for the baby Jesus. Some sources say Balthasar. It is stamped Italy on the bottom. It is in great vintage condition with some minor paint loss in areas from age.
