1940s Handpainted Floral Ceramic Decorative Dish - Multicolor

This vintage Italian pottery candy/trinket dish is stunning. It has scalloped, rolled edges highlighted with gold paint. It is covered on both sides with a speckled gray-blue glaze. In the center are two handpainted flowers, and a bud with green foliage surrounding them. The larger flower is a deep burgundy with a yellow center, and the smaller is a blue flower. The floral design is enhanced with more handpainted gold accents. The entire combination of colors is striking. The piece is in good condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing.
