1940s 50s Brown Rayon Sharkskin Cocktail Dress Charella of California Flower

This is a vintage Charella of California dress. The fabric is a rayon "sharkskin" weave which gives it that two tone sheen. It is in wonderful condition. It has velvet brown ribbon detailing at the waist and a large flower on the hip with a green stem that extends down the dress. I did not notice any discoloration or staining but I may have missed them due to the fabric sheen. There is a tiny tear at the edge of one of the ribbons going down the waist that could easily be repaired and hidden under the ribbon. Dress is sold as is in good used vintage condition. No returns or exchanges. Please see all the photos and remember color appears different on different monitors and devices. Please ask any questions you might have. The zipper is metal and sticks some. It still zips up and down but the teeth have some corrosion that causes it to stick at times. They might be able to be leaned or the zipper replaced. The eye from the hook an eye closure at the top is loose and needs to be restitched. The dress also has side slit pockets. The size tag was too faded to read so please see the measurements below. They are approximate measurements taken with the garment laying flat. Bust (underarm) 17.5" (35" total) Waist 13" (26" total) Shoulder to Hem 44.25" Should fit like a size 6 according to standard sizing.
