1940s #173 Boy-Girl in Garden, Ohio Art 14-pc Child’s Tin Tea Set (T0822) This is a beautiful 14-pc children’s Tea Set made by Ohio Art in 1956, titled: Boy and Girl in a Garden. It is lithograph decorated depicting a girl planting with her dog watching and a butterfly hovering around. Dimensions of these pieces are summarized as follows: 1 Tray 7.5” high and 5.5” wide 1 Teapot, no lid 2” high, 4.5” wide 4 Cups 1.25“ high, 2.5” wide and 2” in diameter 4 Saucers 2.5” in diameter 4 Dinner Plates 4” in diameter This set has the usual age wear such as the tray is a little faded, paint loss on cups and one missing handle and overall surface rust, scratches, dents, etc. as shown in photos. The cups are marked: Ohio Art, with a symbol that was used during 1945-1950s. The Ohio Art Collectors Guide shows this set on page105 and a 15 pc set is worth $ 150.00.
