McClelland Barclay vintage art deco brooch, circa 1940. Goldtone with rhodium plated settings of blue and clear crystals. Step cut open back sapphire blue crystals are set end to end across the center of the plaque with one set at each corner. Two small baguettes and clear pavé set stones complete the top portion. A few of the clear crystals have darkened, but there is still a bit of sparkle in them. The McClelland Barclay hallmark is stamped into the metal on the reverse. 2” x 1 3/4”. This is selling for $175-$250 on ebay and other collector's sites.
