This is a 1939 Match King Striker made for the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition held in San Francisco. On one side is the emblem of the exposition and on the other is the Court of Pacifica which was one of the pavilions there. Pacifica was an 80’ tall statue and stood before the entrance to the Cavalcade of the Golden West. Please see the pictures as they do show some damage to the piece. The plastic on top and bottom are missing small pieces. There are initials carved into the side of the piece and it is missing the material for the striker to spark on. I am always open to offers. Cheers!
