1938 American Legion Gold Armstice Day Coin

1938 American Legion 20th Anniversary of Armistice Day commemorative coin. It is made of brass and measures approximately 1.063 inches in diameter. The obverse side features the American Legion seal, while the reverse side reads “TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY / ARMISTICE DAY” around the edge. The center of the reverse side reads “1918 - 1938 / IN RECOGNITION / OF AMERICAN LEGION / SERVICE AND EARLY 1939 MEMBERSHIP ENROLLMENT”. This coin commemorates the 20th anniversary of the end of World War I and recognizes the service of American Legion members.
