Elegant, glamorous 1939s rayon evening gown, bias cut with great drape and flexible size. Bias cut, fits about 6 to 10. Cross over back seams.
I had the original beaded trim replaced.
Rayon fabric, no lining or label. Condition very good, one small pinhole on back.
I photographed it later over a puffy jacket to try to show detail!

Curious about the replacement trim. Was the previous trim in that same place? Did you replace with vintage decoration or modern? Could you post a clearer picture of the trim please. Thank you.

@nellymalba HI sorry, it's been a few. The original trim was in the same place, but it was unravelled and not in good shape. The new trim I put on 20 years ago, it is a beaded trim. I will post a picture of it.

@nellymalba the new trim is a glass beaded trim. I actually have never worn this dress. When I bought it I thought if I ever need an evening gown this is it, but evidently evening gowns and me are not to be!
