1930’s L.E. SMITH Black Amethyst Glass Vase / Embossed Dancing Girls / ART DECO

Here is an amazing find from the Art Deco period of the 1930’s. L.E. Smith Glass Company started producing glass household items in 1907 then went on to become a leading producer of quality Milk Glass and Carnival Glass - L.E. Smith finally ceased production in 2005. This beautifully-designed vase is in the shape of a loving cup with two dancing girls embossed on the front. The glass looks black but is actually a very dark amethyst purple. The vase measures 7 inches tall by 6 inches wide and is in very good condition with just a few scuffs on the bottom.
