An etched, antique locket in the Art Deco style. Fully-functional. A loving gift for the antique enthusiast; a charming accent to any outfit. This is simply beautiful. Age: 1930’s Mark: Maker mark at inside Approx: 1 & 1/8" X .75" Clasp: Original & works securely -snaps shut Material: Tests for 10k gold filled Condition: Good, this piece has wear to the finish and has "antiqued" beautifully. The interior has one original photo frame and plastic insert. There are no dents to the locket's shape.

luna8lovegood @ladyfromvegas so is this able to be polished and cleaned or will it ruin the locket I’m not sure like how gold filled works? Like can I take a jewelry cloth to it or submerge it I’m cleaning stuff ?

ladyfromvegas @paula_contreras Yes. Gold-filled is like gold-plate, however, it is (literally) 1000% thicker and more durable. :)

luna8lovegood @ladyfromvegas question does the locket close well and stay closed? I had a locket that was antique and it kept swinging open when I wore it so I’m very hesitant

ladyfromvegas @paula_contreras I fully understand. See the 3rd photo down? There is a "fingernail slit" in the side. Without triggering from that spot, this locket stays closed. It will not pry open. (I tested it.) Paula, I do need you to look very closely at my photos, because of the finish. I love that it looks like the antique it is, but everyone feels differently about it. If you DO decide to purchae at the "make a deal" price, I will still include the vermeil chain, free of charge. Take care :)

luna8lovegood @ladyfromvegas I am considering the aging look as I’m sure the chain will be a contrast cause it’s not probly aged. So if I take a polish cloth to this will the tarnish age look go away do you think and it be shiny again or will I ruin the locket? I think I asked earlier but I want to just be clear.
