1920s J.L. Prevost Botanical Copper Engraving Color by Hand No.9

Beautifully framed copper plate lithograph by. Jean Louis Prevost. His botanical art became highly popular in the 1920s/30s. The color scheme that was chosen to custom frame is very unique and works perfectly with the art. The mat is a pale teal green, bordered with metallic silver. The antique wooden frame hasn't been touched nor restored, and has a "look" and uniqueness that could not be replicated.....it took 100 years to create it's appeal. The back has 2 metal wires for hanging.
