sweetheartrn What is the stone and is the piece stamped or acid tested?

rosieblak @sweetheartrn my jeweler said it is a ruby but did not want to cut into metal as it is so old. it did hold at 10k with scratch acid test but i labeled it as overlay as im unsure if it's solid.
