This is a ruby flash souvenir creamer, likely from the Duncan & Miller company, dated "1909". These creamers were often given as souvenirs at events or as gifts, and the ruby flash finish is a distinctive feature. The pattern of the glass is known as "Button Arches." The creamer is made of clear pressed glass with a ruby-colored stain or flash on the top portion. The bottom of the creamer has a raised design resembling cut glass, with arches and hemispheres in a geometric pattern. Ruby flash glass is made by coating clear glass with a thin layer of colored glass, often ruby red. This technique has been used for centuries, with the red color often achieved using gold chloride. Creamer is etched with "K. Kennedy A.Y. P 1909". In great shape considering it's over 100 years old. 4"H x 4"W w/handle, base 2 5/8" dia.
