Listing 0101 - 1906 Indian Head penny - circulated. A classic collectible coin. The Indian head penny is the most popular penny after the Lincoln penny. Indian head pennies were produced by the U.S. Mint from 1859 until 1909. The penny features Lady Liberty adorned in a traditional Native Indian headdress.
When we purchased this penny years ago, it was already in the cardboard coin flip which keeps coins safe and secure. They are supposed to be designed to keep coins from dust and moisture. See photos for condition.
Coin composition: 95% copper with zinc and tin added (bronze composite).
We apologize for the photos, we took them with the penny still in the cardboard flip which has a crystal clear archival window. We also used the zoom lens to show details of the penny.
Comes from our smoke-free home and all of our listings are stored in plastic bins to protect them from dust, etc.
