I never saw this Unger motif, is that their logo?

@anticulture If you're referring to the top, it's a monogram, the initials of the previous owner. The smaller markings are Hallmarks noting the sterling as well as stamp for the patent. This Unger is qualified, although uncommon.

@aboutfacewest no I mean the Unger stamp , not a monogram. Unger normally looks like https://www.925-1000.com/ax_UngerBros.html

@aboutfacewest I am asking a very legitimate question, not trying to offend at all. Definitely I am an interested buyer . I am one of the biggest buyers of Unger you can see my re-creations of it on my other posh shop @jahjahjewelry
I am seriously curious as to who told you /assured you it was Unger

@anticulture This was an estate sale find from the estate of a local antiques dealer. The sale was held by her daughter (also an antiques dealer) via an estate sale company we've done business with for many years. This is what we were told and what we know. after some research on our own, we have NO reason to believe that the piece is falsely qualified. If you have further interest in this item, feel free to bundle and we'll be happy to discuss it further🙂

@aboutfacewest Listen, I know its sterling which is the main thing.. so its not fraud, I just never saw that UNGER motif or Patent before. Its possible the Antique dealer just said it was Unger, as a lot of people attribute the period of Baroque with Unger but it is NOT unger I guarantee that is it not Unger according to the Official 925/ silver smith stamp . Its fine, its nicer and heavier than most Unger .. Ungers cherubs is Loves Dream not this version
