18x24 Original Acrylic Painting "Wizarding World"

Square faced ladies came from the inspiration that all woman are forced into boxes, by society and in turn we inevitably do to ourselves. So I wanted to show that even though we are forced to act a certain way, this should not contain us. In 2019 I showed my art at my first local Comic Con. It was a blast! I cos played as Pam Poovey from Archer. I worked for months trying to up my painting game and create pieces that all different FanDoms would like and appreciate, yet also staying true to my asthetic. This is a piece from that series. "Wizarding World" was completed as an homage to the characters that were brought to screen in the Harry Potter series. This piece was also picked to compete in the ANAC (Association of Nebraska Art Clubs) State show. It was the first year I joined ANAC, this was such an amazing honor! Since that year I have worked hard to keep up this streak and have the honor to show at a state level. Each piece is hand painted and designed by me in my home in Western Nebraska. I am a self taught acrylic painter who started painting in 2016. This piece is 18x24; 3/4 inch wide; wired and ready to hang with hardware to ensure wall hanging.
