18k Yellow Gold Cabochon Oval Amber Ring Vintage Size 6

The ring is crafted in bright polished 18 karat yellow gold. It features a carved, oval piece of polished, honey brown amber secured in a four prong basket setting supported on raised shoulders to a half round shank. It's not flat but almost a free form amber stone. Purchased in Italy in the late 70's. Any other questions just ask! Will come in a ring box (not the original) with the appraisal. Stamped, "18K”, with an illegible makers mark.
