I inherited this band from my great grandmother, in NYC. It is a full eternity band, so size adjustments are limited, w/it currently being a 7.5. However, it is a 100% original Art Deco piece with incredible hand detailing w/engraving & milgraining. If needed, I can obtain appraisal paperwork but I do remember there being a tcw of approx. 1ct in old mine diamonds & rubies. Both are from my personal collection & am open to trades. Since, now divorced, would like to trade for a daily wear piece.

melodyah Is the metal white gold or yellow gold?
Sep 29Reply
nessaanne14
nessaanne14 @melodyah Both is 18k white gold. Engagement ring is Belais Bros which is the 1st patent white gold. Wedding/eternity band is white gold but not hallmarked. My jeweler believes it’s original Art Deco but rhodium plated due to its bright finish vs the natural white 18k. It pairs beautifully with the engagement ring. However, I’m not interested or entertaining low ball offers. I don’t need to sell & would much rarer wait to see it’s next happy owner than I would a quick sale.

narnia1 @nessaanne14 Hello! Is the price for both rings or just the eternity band?

narnia1 @nessaanne14 That being said, I wear a size 7-ish & might have a few rings you might be interested to trade for; not listed.

nessaanne14 @narnia1 That’s for the band, but I’d def be interested in possibly trading. I have some more not listed that I’d rather trade than sell too. Those are Deco w/2 closer to Edwardian. Is there anything in particular you’re looking for?

narnia1 @nessaanne14 Wellllllll, I wasn’t looking, but anything Art Deco , Edwardian , Art Nouveau, & Mid Century seem to catch my eye. I have a very interesting Obsty & Barton 10k gold ring with a 14k white gold with 9 diamonds CTW .95. Size 7.

narnia1 @nessaanne14 Would you be interested in seeing? It’s one of a kind, as an artist/jeweler friend took the Obsty ring setting, removed the chipped glass gemstone (common in those days) & replaced with the stunning 14k white gold setting of 9 diamonds. It’s one-of-a-kind, but sadly I’ve never worn it!!! It just sits in its cool little ring box in my safe. I think I’d get lots more use out of your ruby & diamond eternity band.

narnia1 @nessaanne14 I’ve posted on my page! Of course, I also have the Art Deco 18K White Gold Band by Belais.

simartin03 is the set available or just the band?
Jan 06Reply
nessaanne14
nessaanne14 @simartin03 Hi, the set is available. If you’d like additional pics, just let me know. Both are authentic Art Deco, but the Belais is the original patented 18K white gold, so a warm matte. Band is a “brighter” white but not rhodium plated. Not a visible diff. when paired but never worn together to prevent rubbing. Open to offers or trades as a set or individual, just prefer both finding a new home with an owner that also appreciates the craftsmanship.

hmendelson127 WOW. I’ve been looking for a wedding band and this is the first ring I’ve seen that made me stop in my tracks. I’ve gotta think on this and recheck my size. Wow. How do you like wearing it? Do you think it would work for everyday wear or do you think that would be too rough? Thank you for sharing!
