1897 Ruby Red Gone With The Wind Lamp By Pittsburgh Glass & Royal Brass Co.

This is a beautiful 1897 Antique/ Vintage "Gone With The Wind" oil lamp that has been converted into an electric lamp, but it still has the oil pan inside of it, so I think it could be turned back to just the oil lamp if you wanted. It was made by the Pittsburgh Glass & Royal Brass Company in 1897. It has 2 shades the Ruby Red glass shade and a clear hurricane Lamp shade. It's considered a Parlor Lamp, or Buffet Lamp. It doesn't have any chips or cracks or damage. The top of the lamp shade has a rough edge around the top, you have to look extremely close or run your finger across it to notice it as you can see from the pictures, but I think maybe it was the way it was made. It's hand blown glass. There are no cuts or damage to the cord. It's been taken apart and well cleaned inside and out. It's 27.75"Hx 10.5"W. It's an absolutely gorgeous peice of history.
