Rare Homer Laughlin hallmark, back stamp... The American eagle attacking the English lion within a heart, a statement of American Pottery in competition with desirable English pottery. Stamped with only, "Laughlin." This platter has minimal decoration, pale blue and brown floral edges and subtle ripple corner patterns. Crazing overall. Some edge browning. No chips or cracks. 10 x 15 inches
