1886 Seattle Antique Vintage Wall Art Decor Epherma Vintage Paper

A cool piece of Seattle history! This is J. E. Norton Florence's receipt for an $1,800 purchase at A.B. Stewart, Wholesale and Retail Druggist - once located on 615 Front Street in old Seattle. The receipt is date June 23, 1886 - three years before The Great Seattle Fire (a fire that destroyed the entire central business district of Seattle, Washington on June 6, 1889. Seattle rebuilt using brick buildings that sat 20 feet above the original street level). The receipt is approximately 8" x 7.5" and sits under a double mat in a light tan color. The frame is approximately 12.75" x 12.5". The frame has a small chip on the bottom border, and the receipt has some yellowing and signs of age - it IS 136 years old, afterall! A very cool piece art piece and slice of history for you, or a gift for a medical professional in your life...OR a history buff!
