lalamoonbreeze Hi there! So first of all thank you again for all the likes! 😁 I was wondering have you ever done a pin wheel theme with teddy bears? My new grandson is obsessed with my silver sparkly pinwheels I have in my yard to attempt to deter the crows! But he’s having his first birthday party in May and they’re wanting to do either a teddy bear theme or a dancing fruit theme! So I was wondering if you had any ideas for some spinning pinwheels?

vibrant_closet @lalamoonbreeze Good Morning to you! I make all of my pinwheels out of paper/cardstock and have never made a spinning one, didn't want medal or other sharp objects attached just so they could spin or be spinners. I then decided to use soft pom poms instead, which makes them definitely restricted to spin and made for still color display. These pinwheels make perfect basket display on a table top or within a craft room inside a basket for easy storage and minimalist storage appeal.

vibrant_closet @lalamoonbreeze I am happy your grandkids love your lawn pinwheels, they are definitely sturdy, mine are more paper and delicate and made for displaying in a basket or bowl around a bookshelf, table top, end tables, (Conversation starters) vase fillers or have them sit inside a basket until ready for crafting out. These pinwheels can be inside door hangers, gift bag or basket attachments, indoor wreath making or scrapbooking attachments, etc.

vibrant_closet @lalamoonbreeze I have been away for quite some time in making pinwheels, since my schedule in a day has been more busy. I have one last set of pinwheels for this year 2024 to include within my closet listings. They will mostly inspire Safari/Sunsets, Desert Sand, Summer or can even be used for Fall all within the same color coordinating hues. I may get back into making them within the next year or two depending on if i feel it will be worth the time spent making them.
