This is one of the more difficult jewlery sets to let go of but I promised myself that if I haven't worn it in a year, it's best if it moves on to someone who will give it new life & love.. In particular, this necklace, it's. solid 14k gold, it was given to me by a dear friend who purchased it in a little Jewlery boutique shop in a part of Berkeley called "the gourmet ghetto" known for its posh, artisan & couture boutiques. The name of the shop is self titled by the woman who owns & designs all her jewlery, somewhere I need to dig out the jewlery boxes and bags it came in so I can tell you her name because it escapes my poor old memory! I love the dainty unique asymmetrical aspects to this & I absolutely love the moonstones & labradorite (same family of semi precious stones) they each have a gorgeous flash to them. This was my 1st piece of solid gold jewelry ever & despite it's dainty nature, it's held up beautifully.
I also have a vintage opal and gold ring (size 5?) with 2 little diamonds on each side. I have this ring listed separately with better close up pics if you want to see the stamp. unfortunately genuine opal is extremely delicate & it appears theres a tiny blemish on this one. not very noticeable & someone crafty with a good eye for these things might be able to mask. Price has been edited accordingly.

@kzapdizal Was the jewelry store/designer M. Lowe & Co. on Shattuck Ave. in Berkeley? Havenโt lived in the area for years, but remember and love this place and the neighborhood.

@jennywoodlander oh wow, Im sorry.. I seriously have not seen this until just now! I have incredibly frustrating experiences w this apps message notification system! I'm not exactly sure where I'm the gourmet ghetto it was but I'm pretty certain 4th St and the designer's name was a woman's name that had a j in it & I believe the store was also named after her.. wish I knew more! ๐ค๐

@kzapdizal Thanks for your message, no worries - it seems like Poshmark isn't great at ensuring messages get through. ...I know the Margaret O'Leary store on Fourth Street used to have (in early-mid 2000s) beautiful handmade jewelry, some from local makers. The Gardener, too. :)
