14K Gold 4CT TW Multi Color Tourmaline Sapphire Diamond Pierced Earrings

When the colors are right - the effect is breathtaking! Here's a pair of C.1990 14K yellow gold (hallmarked 13K with Makers initials of CH as pictured) earrings for pierced ears (posts with omega backs) that feature, to the front, multi-colored gemstones set in a slightly curved setting. On my Presidium, the stones read all over the place - tourmaline, sapphire and diamond so they are most likely all genuine stones however I cannot rule out the possibility of synthetics in the colored gems. Featuring 4 rows of colors the stones would most likely be termed citrine, blue sapphire or tourmaline, pink sapphire or tourmaline and peridot hues. The diamonds are just that, white diamonds. The earrings measure 3/4" high and have a width of 9/16" to the front. Definite statement sized earrings. Combined weight of the pair is 9 grams - yes, a nice weight of both gemstone and gold. To the best of my ability the sizes of the stones are as follows - the 12 colored ovals measure 4mm x 3mm (15 points each) for a total weight of 1.80CT each earring. The 42 diamonds ion each earring are accent stones only at 1/2 point each for a total weight of .21CT each earring. Total gemstone weight to the pair is 4.02CT TW approx. Color is very clean, very clear. The diamonds are not graded as they are so small but they give off a delicious sparkle. Think of all the outfits you could wear these beauties with!
