leslielew222 @kvarda1 👋 The description I purchased it as is thistle cut. I think it's a Mystic topaz but can't confirm that. It is set in 10k gold, so I think it is probably a gemstone, but I can't guarantee it. It's so beautiful!

kvarda1 @leslielew222 I couldn't tell in the pictures if the front is coated as well as the back of the stone. Sometimes they will take A clear quartz and coat the back with an ab... does it look like that?

leslielew222 @kvarda1 I know what you mean. It doesn't look like there is a separation of the color from the top to the bottom. I can't remember where I purchased it. It probably was Etsy or a dealer at a jewelry show.

leslielew222 @kshdrake08 That's a possibility, but it really looks like a coating over the stone. I have seen darker, similar looking jewelry referred to as "Mystic topaz."
