This is a 10K PDN Burmese Ruby and Diamond ring made by Pranda in Thailand purchased over 30 years ago. It is a beautiful ring. I want to note that the band is no longer completely round. See pic. Size is approx 6 to 6.5.

@shirleyyoung780 Hi. Thank you for your interest. I purchased this ring from the home shopping network about 30 years ago. I do not believe the stones have been treated, however I ca not say for sure. There are no authentication papers with the ring. I can say it is a very pretty ring.

@lizzrz Hi. Thank you for inquiring about this ring. I had to research a bit but found that PDN on a 10K gold ring indicates that the ring is made of yellow gold that contains palladium. Palladium is a rare metal that is only found in a few mines around the world. Over the years palladium has become more valuable mostly due to its use in other things. Some articles state it is more valuable than gold due to it rarity, but as with any metals, prices will fluctuate depending on demand.

@tsclosetcleanup thanks how low you can go. is ruby real?

@lizzrz Hi. The rubies are Burmese rubies and are real, and the tiny diamonds are real as well....at least that is how it was advertised on the jewelry show on the home shopping network back when I purchased it 30 years ago.

@lizzrz Hi. Sorry for the delay. I've been putting with stuff with my son. I would go down to $333 if that sound fair.

@tsclosetcleanup Hi. PDN stands for Pranda North America. It's a global jewelry manufacturer. 😊

@scorp_lady Thank you. I appreciate your sharing this. When I googled it the explanation I shared was what I was given. It certainly makes sense though. Thank you.

@tsclosetcleanup You're very welcome. Stamps/ hallmarks on jewelry can be confusing sometimes. For example, I've learned that PD can be for palladium or even "premier designs", then to make it more complicated there's PDN for Pranda. 😲 But glad I could help. Hope you have a happy new year!!
