100% Silk Scarf Baby Elephant on Kelly Green Bandana

I desinged this scarf because I LOVE elephants, but most of the silk scarves with elephant designs depict Indian elephants with their traditional decorations - also lovely, but I wanted a scarf with a baby elephant in nature. The gray baby elephants are on a grass/Kelly green background, with olive green leaves on the background and on the black border. Scarf size is 20 x 20 inches – bandana size. What I love about this size is that it does not add bulk when worn around the neck, and can also be used as a head bandana, or a lovely accent on the wrist or purse. I usually tie these scarves on two diagonal corners, making a perfect, impactful accessory around the neck. Fabric is 100% silk crepe de Chine. While printed on only one side, the colors also show somewhat muted on the back due to the semi-sheer, airy quality of the fabric. Hand-sewn tag. My 100% silk scarves are designed in the Pacific Northwest, inspired by the beautiful natural surroundings and memories of my childhood in South Africa. Production is done by a reputable company in China. Ships from the US in a linen-colored envelope, securely packed in secondary packaging. Care and cleaning: while dry cleaning is recommended, I have gently hand washed and line dried one of these scarves with no color bleeding. Woolite Dry Care is also an excellent product for dry cleaning at home, and several scarves can be cleaned with one kit. Ironing: natural silk does wrinkle. Iron on a medium setting.
