10 different fat quarters that were designed by Kaffe Fassett and his team of Phillip Jacobs and Brandon Mabley. Most are from Free Spirit or Westminster. They are all 100% cotton. A fat quarter is cut from a half yard of fabric and is usually about 18" by 22" from most bolts of fabrics. Some bolts include a wider selvage so only run about 40' wide. Some fabric shop clerks cut the yard a bit uneven or a bit short or longer. And then sometimes fabrics shrink after machine washing. Therefore, fat quarters can run about 17 to 19 inches wide and about 22 to 24 inches long. Most of these are approximately18" x 22". No pet and nonsmoking home. Currently, most fabric shops are charging anywhere from 3.50 to $4 for Kaffe Fassett fat quarters. Some shown have been retired and are no longer available, except on Ebay and Esty. And they are running from $3.16 each in a set of 8 plus shipping. While others are $8.77 for 1 of Kaffe Fassett's fat quarter!! Don't forget to bundle, you will save more!
