OPALS in this lot: 90% Opal 10% Matrix Sizes: range 11mm to 24mm Colors: include pretty much every color of the rainbow (Neons & Pastels) Fire opal’s naturally occurring colors are bright, vibrant & reflect the shades the stone gets its name from. They are defined by the phenomenon known as ‘play of color’. This means that the stone could possess spots, flashes, sparkles or even patterns of different pure colors that surface when u hold the Opal at different angles. These Opals are shot under the glow of a NORMAL FLASHLIGHT. There are also a few stationary photos taken in a room w/ a basic white bulb lamp & dim sunlight. You absolutely don’t need a bright light to see the magical colors dancing around a genuine Opal but it can enhance the experience. Honestly 1 of my favorite things to do w/ POC pieces is continue to find more & more! Keep in mind these Opals (pictured) are stationary.
