An amazing dress! NWT, vintage Stella Mccartney runway dress. From her 2003 Fall/Winter line. Even better, McCartney wore this design at the 2003 Met Gala. The theme was Goddess. A timeless investment piece with a story. As a designer, McCartney plays with proportion & lines in order to achieve some stunning effects even through simple garments. Deconstructed 2 Piece Corset Dress done in pale pink silk & satin, sz 2-4. The top features an impeccably constructed boned corset with a V neckline. Tonal color variations strategically placed to accentuate the natural lines of the body. The top has perfect stretch to create a sculpted, smooth silhoutte. Mesh at the sides of the hips & front of the corset add textural contrast. The waist is further defined by the attached satin belt that secures with hook closure at the back. The built in straplss bra is very supportive & hugs the body to fit most breast sizes. The straight silk skirt falls below the knee. A wide band of pink satin at the hem draws the dress together visually, while a small slit at the back of the skirt gives ease of movement. Lined with a silk stretch underskirt.
