Haha, thank you so much @ararejoy !! We had decided on a fiesta-themed first birthday party for our little girl, so when my husband brought back that mini sombrero from a trip to South Texas, I bobby pinned it to a headband and used it instead of a party hat -- it ended up being the funniest/cutest thing ever!!! π

Oh my goodness @ararejoy you should totally do it!! Seriously, it ended up being the cutest/easiest-to-pull-together party ever.... some big tissue paper flowers, a taco bar, a piΓ±ata, a few succulents, papel picado banners, and bright table cloths -- and that mini sombrero! Bang. Done. OlΓ©!

@ararejoy Our little one pulls out bows immediately too (to eat or throw them, ha!), but for some reason she doesn't mess with the headbands! I think it helped that she was distracted by cake π I'm sure your little lady's party will end up absolutely adorable no matter what you do, but you'll have to let me know if you go the fiesta route!!!

@redpaperclip I didn't know either until someone asked me! Party hosts know weeks in advance that they are hosting so it's a good way to get to know posh compliant poshers! I had several awesome poshers help me so it's great to be able to pay it forward! π

Agree with Jen @goldrose48, being on a couple is always good. Sometimes I miss a listing but good thing someone else tags me and vise versa. When I first started I was SO thrilled to be on anyones list! lol Now though, sometimes I get tags from random ppl & I'm like, who are you?! Why?! And it will be like my 6th tag for the same thing! So, I always like to know if someone actually wants to be tagged!

I totally agree with Jen! @goldrose48 It's a lot of work once you do start getting noticed and HPs and all π Its worth it in the long run. Don't forget to take breaks! You will get poshed out. Thank the host always, but after you've done your due diligence for awhile with thanking those who cheer n share ur HPs, it's ok to take a few off. People understand π

@pre_pa514 @redpaperclip Yes breaks are definitely needed! I purposely keep poshing to a minimum some days so that I can take a breather. In the beginning it is a lot of work to keep up with shares but that's also how you meet poshers. There's so many nice and supportive women here so it's hard to stay away too long π

@redpaperclip @pre_pa514 I think the first month I spent floundering around not knowing what to do. The 2nd and 3rd month is when I got the hang of it and was sharing like crazy. It's also when I started joining the parties and receiving host picks so that was a super busy time. I've learned to take breaks since then lol! Hope you both have a happy 4th and enjoy the rest of your weekend! π

Yeah no it's SO TIME CONSUMING. Hours go by easily. It was so much fun in the beginning (it still is!), I shared a ton and met so many bulbous women! Since my party, I'm like ehhhhh π I need more breaks. I'm sure this will pass! It's also b/c I just graduated and overall burnt. You ladies have a wonderful holiday too! @goldrose48

Hi @glimmergal16 - thanks so much, friend! I use an app called photo grid... I just used a picture of flowers I had on my phone, added a few filters and text, and voila! β¨π¦π Once upon a time the app was free - but I got it so long ago I'm not sure if it is any longer! (And now there are probably lots of other options out there too π)
