lottenotte I had no idea... you rock even thought you do ride "huntseat"... as we Saddlebred people call that jumping junk.. LOL. I wrote jumpers in college on our collegiate team... I rock!!! I had horses until I had a horrible accident on one of my most docile horses. I had to quit med school, and then I got prego and then again and was in rehab therapy to learn to walk again for a few years... I am great now and have been on a horse once since then and it was just not the same. I have been riding and showing since I was about 5 years old. I literally grew up in a barn and I am proud of it! Would love to have some horses again one day but I am like you. I cannot just have "horses".... I have to compete! Show! Win!!! lol.

abstractdreams 🎉Congrats on Co-Hosting!🎉 Good to meet you! I do a lot of animal rescue networking on fb & have heard of Canaan's, tho fortunately, I don't see them often. Many rescues & cross posting groups are breed specific and the best way to rehome a dog so I needed to know he's a Herding dog!💕🐶🐾

It's so funny when I take him out because everyone stops to pet him and they ask "What breed is he?". I respond "He's a Canaan Dog" and they just kind of smile and nod their heads. I always said if (God forbid!) he ever ran away and put up for adoption they would list him as a Border Collie / Husky / Grey Hound Mix!

I should have picked a less expensive passion, but I love animals and with horses you develop a huge trust relationship with this beautiful creature - it's so rewarding. I like jumping, etc., but nothing beats a good ole' trail ride through the country side :)

fifig23 Oh no!! (Or, YAY! For all the pretty things yore going to buy!) But I'm so sorry you pulled a muscle in your neck! Ouch! But I can so relate! I had to have super minor surgery on my wrist a few months ago (right as rain now thank God!) but I was totally poshing on the pain meds and no regrets! One of my best friends worked for a horse farm in Ky for races horses and now works at Keeneland in Lexington. I love to visit her and see those majestic animals up close.

gumbob @julie48 - Hi. Just to let you know, the package has NOT been delivered to my residence. I've had people check. PoshMark will be dealing with this as they have systems in place for this. All my mail is undeliverable until 1/2/15 as previously stated to you. Not sure what will happen with my claim.

julie48 @gumbob Poshmark sent me an email stating they have been in contact with you and, even though the USPS says the package has been delivered, you reported as not having received it. Poshmark will work through the refund process on your end. They have all the same information I had listed (the USPS confirmation, etc) and advised there was no need for me to have a separate listing. It's less complicated on their end if all emails regarding this transaction are sent referencing the order number which is associated specifically to this listing only. Poshmark is really good about resolving issues like this and if the package isn't found, you will be given a full refund.

julie48 @msu0712 Hi Laura! Where in Michigan are you from? My best friend and boyfriend are Michigan born and raised ;-) Canaan Dogs are pretty rare so don't feel bad! I didn't realize how rare they were until I got mine and people would ask "What kind of dog is that" and nobody knew (not even the vet). There are only about 2,000 domesticated ones in the world but they exist in the wild in the Canaan Desert. If you like animals, google the breed (it's pretty fascinating!). Plus, he's just the best dog in the world - but I'm not biased at all ;-) Thanks for the note and have a great weekend! I look forward to chatting with you as well!

mjerard Then it's a male ? I see a dog like this in my neighborhood. I thought he was a white German Shepard! These dogs are the dogs from the Egyptian statues and other artwork right. Very cool.
