Vtg Mexican brooch

This is a vintage copper and brass with green enamel brooch depicting a native Mexican from many years gone by. The piece is marked 'Maya Mexico' on the back. It is possible this is a Maya person with a headdress being depicted. This pin is likely from the 40s - 60s and is in good vintage condition. The is noticeable enamel loss around the neck, and the headdress isn't as green as it used to be. Overall, this is still a great piece of Mexican history. The pin measures 2 3/8" tall and 1" wide.
