@adelinemay It’s a heavy blanket and warm, the knit is tight. My grandmas blankets were in a chest but i can certainly put some fabric softener in but it is a warm blanket. Grew up in Wisconsin so wanted things warm. Colors are very vibrant and no pilling or nubbies that would make it uncomfortable or off putting. All 3 quilts I listed were just basically decorative. The others draped and this one was always folded at the end of a guest room bed.
