Vintage Original by Robert Enamel Christmas Flower Brooch bursting with holiday cheer: Enameled gold tone 3-dimensional pin featuring two bold, red star-like blooms with contrasting yellow bulb centers. Flowers are surrounded by four glossy, spikey holly leaves each with a detailed venation pattern on the front and underside. Approx. measurements: 2-3/4” x 2”, approx. 1-1/2” high. Signed “Original by Robert” on the back. Vintage from the 1960s. In great vintage condition. The red & green enamel is rich & shiny, pin back straight and clasp locks securely. As noted in the pictures, there is minor enamel loss (speck-like chips) around a few flower tips and one holly leaf. These are visible only upon close inspection and absolutely do not diminish the charm of this holiday accessory. The brooch’s Poinsettia-like flowers symbolize good cheer & success, the holly symbolizes peace & goodwill. This piece will bring joy to any holiday celebration. “Original by Robert” was part of the Fashioncraft Jewelry Company founded in 1942 and later changed its name to Robert Originals in 1951.
