Vintage 80’s Lee Sands Kissing Dolphins Hawaii Mother of Pearl Necklace

Rare and collectible “kissing dolphins” by 80’s designer Lee Sands out of Hawaii. The approximate 3.75”x 2.75” mother of pearl pendant is of 2 kissing dolphins. The inlay is of Mother of Pearl and Abalone shell on resin backing. Their tails rest on a row of larger round Mother of Pearl Beads, as if the two were dancing together on top of the waves. The 31” necklace portion is of genuine solid Mother of Pearl beads in alternating oblong & smaller round shapes. I do note a small mark and tried to get a photo - possibly removable, I have not tried. There are natural variations in the shell as well - expected with genuine natural materials. Strung on poly cord (like fishing line) with gold tone lobster clasp. Other than the aforementioned mark, this piece is in excellent vintage condition - 40+ years old.
