Vintage 80s MIE Red Dr. Martens Pascal 1460 8-hole Boots UK5 USM6/USW7

Handmade in England, with the printed hang tags these boots were most likely made in the 1980s. They are smooth red leather, but so much softer than the new MIA smooth leathers that are produced today. The DMs website describes the vintage style leather used in their modern MIE line: “Thick and corrected-grain with a matte finish, this leather only gets better with age. Quilon leather is crafted using a traditional method and features contrast base color for a two-tone finish.” These vintage boots are in remarkable shape for their age.
