Tom Clark Gnome SOUTH BEND (#55) Signed Artist Cairn Studio Dated 1984 COA -SOUTH BEND was created and signed by Tom Clark in July 1983 and retired in March 1987. -He is from a collection entitled Woodspirits and Forest Dwellers. -See SOUTH BEND'S story below.*** -Measures 3″ H x 3.75″ W. -The Certificate of Authenticity from Cairn Studio, Ltd. is included. -The gnome is in vintage condition, no cracks, some scuffing to finish. -Please review photos carefully for condition. -Packed and shipped with care. ~ 2-2434-jd ***"South Bend's" Story: This fellow went to the South Bend Plate Collectors Convention in 1983. It was so crowded that he couldn't find a room. He therefore had to sleep under his leaf tent. He had to leave his wife at home, because there is "No Dame" in South Bend! Still he has a little ladybug to keep him company. The Indian head penny is in honor of Indiana.
