peytonbillings @0315andrea so sorry for taking so long to reply! This book is categorized as a paperback, but the cover is not flimsy. I got the book out of storage to look over it more closely, and while there are no pen or highlighter marks in this book, the bottom does show a bit of wear. I added two photos to the end of this listing so you can see. Do you still want to go through with your offer?
