Stretch Denim shorts -flawed

size 4 / 27 denim shorts with a little distressing, mid / high waist- rise 9" 14 inch waist 3 inch inseam nice and stretchy some distressing on the innermost leg, looks like they caught in the washing machine? Not forming a hole, not see through, and not visible when wearing.
