RARE ETHNIC HEAD DRESS

What a wonderful piece, this is all handmade, comprised of cowrie shells, buttons, seeds, metal coins, and other metal pieces, hundreds of stitches went into making this. 28 in long x 7 in wide, atop the are 19 strings of beads, 13 tassels and all joined to a single coin. The cap fits the crown 7 W x 3 in deep (height). A string to tie on each side approx 5 in. If you know the origin of piece let me know. Price reflects: age, material, craftsmanship.
