Are you typically a size 8? Was it the heel cup that was too large?

@ksteph1991 yes I am typically a size 8 but I do have flat feet and somewhat narrow feet and can sometimes wear a 7.5 in heels (not Paul Green though). It is the heel cup but with the straps and maybe the addition of heel cushion inserts, they’d probably fit like a dream.
