sportie40 Hi!! I once joined a game and of the thousands of people that I hadn’t shared , the host said they / and the person noticed. Every since then I’ve been scared to join anything. I am new to this and when I see the tons of followers I’m intimidated Because I can’t click on each individual 10+ times and don’t want to offend. Can you try to explain how to do it. kimkay78 @sportie40 Hello Diane. It sounds like you might be talking about a Super Posher game. In those games you have to follow all of the people playing and share from the chosen closets every day. In regular follow games you follow all of the people in the game (that like the post) and follow all the new people who join after you. An easy way to follow people is to click on your followers in your closet and click the blue follow button for any people you are not following.

When you join follow games it is more important that you follow people because that is the whole point of the game. Sharing is not required in regular follow games. I hope this helps. kimkay78 @sportie40 Hello again, In reference to your question about having to click each individual 10+ times. In follow games you should only have to click follow one time per person playing. When you click the number next to the people who liked the listing a list will appear and you just click follow quickly for each. It should not take too long. I hope this helps.

kimkay78 @deezigned33 Hello, If you just sold an item you do not get paid right away. You have to ship the item first and it has to be delivered. Once the item is delivered the buyer has 3 days to accept or dispute the purchase. After it is accepted or after the 3 days your payment will be released to you.

kimkay78 @ocmsrzr Hello Janelle, follow games are usually easy to spot because the listing usually says "Follow Game" on it or "Follow Me". They usually have rules listed that tell you how to play and how to join. You join by liking the listing. I tagged you in my follow game so you can see what one looks like.

You don't have to worry about anything that is in the comments section. There is a picture included in my listing that shows you how to find the full list of people that liked the listing.

jewelska @sportie40 I played follow games when I first started but it was so hard to keep up. I prefer to play share games where people decide to follow because of the shares returned. Finding a core group of people who share back gets your stuff seen to a wider audience as their followers see it too.

kimkay78 @natsuzanne Hello Natalie, The most important thing to do is make sure you follow the people already in the game when you join and to follow back the people who join the game later and follow you. The easiest way to make sure you follow back the people who join after you is to follow back everyone who follows you.

dachsundlife78 I’m soooo confused why would anyone “squat” In a follow game on purpose?? When someone likes Yours listing and than blocks you To gain followers, that is weird. But many Times people are asked to join follow games in response to someone joining theirs and then forget about them because they have joined too Many, do not get notifications and they are busy ! It’s not necessarily on purpose , don’t forget that aspect.

kimkay78 @dachsundlife78 There are a few of the same squatters that I see in almost every follow game I join. It is intentional due to the quantity they join. Then there are some people who don’t understand how to play. I believe if you join a follow game there should be no reason why you can’t just click on your followers link when you have the time to Posh and click follow on the people who followed you. If that is too much trouble for people, they really should not be joining follow games at all.

kimkay78 @allexisstyle Hello Alley, When I catch someone joining my follow game and I know that they did not follow me or others I usually message them in the comments section of the game. I say something like, “Thank you for joining my follow game. Please take a moment to follow me and the other people playing the game. There are instructions included in the listing.” If they don’t follow back in a few days I ask them to leave my follow game.

They have no business being in follow games and should find their own way to gain followers. I am sorry to hear that you were harassed. You can always block the people that harass you.

allexisstyle @kimkay78 Do you find it obvious when they like your game but don’t share it also? I see that a lot. That’s when I check and see that they didn’t follow me. It was very stressful and saddened me that Poshmark couldn’t see it was harassment. I did block her 2 accounts. Unfortunately that doesn’t stop them from seeing your closet. She flagged all of my signs 1 everyday for 7 days in a row. My Follow Game, Offer Chart, Follow Me On IG, Closet Rules, etc. Signs every seller has in their closet.

kimkay78 @allexisstyle If someone with a low following count joins my game and does not follow me, I always check to see if they are already following me or not. The following link in a person’s closet only shows around the last 1,000 people that the person followed. If a person is only following a few hundred or so and you are not on that list, they are not following you.

kimkay78 @allexisstyle It is probably better to check the following link in the persons closet instead of checking your followers link. Your followers link only shows around the last 1,000 people that followed you. If a person followed you awhile ago they will not show up on your followers list anymore. For example, I am following you but I no longer am on your followers list and you don’t come up on my followers list either.

Then you can see the full list of people they are following. After people reach up into the thousands you will not be able to see the full list anymore so you won’t be sure if they are following you or not.

kimkay78 @cristinanl Hello Cristina, people are following you in hopes that you follow them back. They are trying to increase their followers and they are helping you increase yours. When you share your items to followers, they go to your followers’ main feed. Increasing followers means that more people see your items. If other people share your listings to their followers, then they go to their followers’ main feed. Increasing followers and sharing items can help increase your sales.

kimkay78 @cristinanl It is not mandatory to follow people back when they follow you but Poshmark promotes it and it is polite. If you click on Posh Etiquette on the Posh app it states, “Do find, follow, and show love to your stylemates’ listings! The love you help spread will get returned!” Poshmark was designed for people to help each other sell. Most of the people selling are the same people buying on Posh.

If you see a listing that says it is a follow game, it will include rules on how to play. You join the game by liking the listing. Follow games are meant to help people grow their number of followers. The point of the game is for all the players to follow each other so they all gain followers. Some people do not follow the other players which is against the rules and rude.

channeling I would like to be a part of your Follow game I am a Poshmark ambassador I am really struggling I literally spend hours just going to random closet in following followers or doing you know different follow games that I see but I have just now reached 50 K and I’m following 220 K that makes no sense

kimkay78 @channeling Hello Jacinda, I tagged you in my follow game. I understand your struggle. I have found that gaining followers takes effort and time as well. It has taken me several years to gain the followers that I have. If you are following people’s followers, I have found that it is best to stick with closets that are highly active and have many followers. Super Posher follow/share games tend to work well for gaining followers. I am following you too.

kimkay78 @channeling Try not to stress about your followers/following ratio. It is most important to share your listings multiple times a day. The search function on Posh defaults to “Just Shared” so you have a greater chance of a shopper seeing your listing the more you share it. Feel free to reach out with any questions. channeling @kimkay78 Thank you I appreciate that and I do I like I do do that just shared I do that often but I find myself spending hours you know following and blues but I’ll try to also go under you know people with you know three 400 500,000 followers but I know God’s got me so it’ll work out it’s just frustrating you know I’m like what in the world I mean to people not see you know I’m saying LOL

kimkay78 @armykellyz Hello Kelly, It would be nice if everyone followed back. I am following over 160,000 people that did not bother to follow back. Most closets that have a high follower count are following a lot of people that never followed back. The closets that have a large number of followers but are barely following anyone got that way from not following back and/or unfollowing people. I am sure that your followers will grow over time. kimkay78 @angiefduncan Hello Angie, I am sorry to hear that you accidentally made an offer on a bundle. I try to keep things simple, so I don’t send offers to likers or on bundles. I just let people make offers. I also get host picks even though I don’t attend parties. The people hosting parties often search Posh for listings to use in the party. You don’t have to attend the party if you don’t want to.

kimkay78 @angiefduncan To have conversation with a seller you can use their meet the posher listing, a comment listing if they have one, or message them on one of your own listings. If you want to keep it private, you can make a bundle and comment inside the bundle. You can ask questions about items directly on a listing or in a bundle. It is best not to negotiate prices in the comments or ask what the lowest price they will take is.

kimkay78 @angiefduncan Making lowball offers also make people angry. People get angry if you join their follow or share game and don’t follow the guidelines of the game. Some people get angry if you share a sold item to your followers. People often get angry if you copy their listings to use in your own closet. Try to use your best judgement.

kimkay78 @gearheadgirl50 Hello Jacki, Follow games are pretty simple and do not require you to go on Poshmark every day. You join a game by liking the game listing and then follow the other people who have liked it (they are the ones already in the game). Then you share the listing. As new people join the game, they will follow you and you just have to follow them back. I tagged you in my listing that has instructions if you ever decide to try one out.
