It has a hidden push clasp opening on one of the larger end links which works perfectly. Versatile style whereas it can be worn in different ways, such as 1) half pearl & half silver link chain worn on each side; 2) all pearl worn on both sides in front with silver link chain at upper chest area and around the neck; or 3) all silver link chain worn on both sides in front with pearls at upper chest and around the neck. I purchased directly from our local Kendra Scott on a whim and put it away and forgot about it. I am continuing to downsize as I have acquired more than I ever wear.
