thechicbohemian @brn2run You know, I'll often get an offer that's 30-40% less than the asking price, and I'll either counter at 10 or less percent, which often indicates to the buyer their offer was not reasonable, or not respond. I try not to decline outright, as I realize some are newer to the forum and perhaps not aware of the commission structure. (Cont.)

thechicbohemian @brn2run (cont.) ...And some equate the offer option with eBay's Best Offer system, which is quite more anonymous, and therefore there's no risk of experiencing a seller taking it personally. I don't think there's anything wrong with politely explaining, but I won't call someone out publicly on the listing, where all may see. Plus, it very well be they respectfully receive the feedback. It's nice to maintain connections here. :)

I always try to check if someone is a newbie or just buys and then I give them a break or if they keep it up try to nicely educate them about how Posh works. But I have actually had to take down and relist two items because the people who were making lowball offers were mad that I wouldn't accept them and called me a b-. I don't want that ugliness in my Closet. So rephotographing, the whole thing.
